NY/RI based theatre performer, maker, dramaturg

Caroline (Lina) DeFazio is a queer, multidisciplinary theatre artist based in New York and Rhode Island.

As a creative, Lina is a director, performer, collaborator, playwright, choreographer, dramaturg, and essayist. She has worked at Target Margin Theater, The Brick, The Tank, as well as various other spaces with companies such as Atlantic Theater and MetaPhys-Ed.
Lina recently graduated from New York University, where she studied at the Experimental Theater Wing and the International Theater Wing in Amsterdam. Her training was focused on physical theater, the development of new works, and collaborative processes. While at NYU, she worked on over a dozen departmental projects, produced two original works, and completed two A-grade theses. 
In addition to her creative work, Lina works as a freelance production assistant. She has worked with Pregones Theater, DominiRican Productions, George Valencia, Good Talk Films, and will be on contract at Carnegie Hall this July.
